Synchronization between devices is now the basis for functioning in the digital world. We spend as much time on the phones as on the computer and the key function is access to history and bookmarks on every device. Equally important, though somewhat neglected by developers, is the function of transferring viewed pages between devices. In Windows 10 this has been working for some time as part of Sharing Nearby. Google introduced this function into its browser together with the Chrome 77 version. Finally!
It works on both smartphones and desktops. Just click the address bar where the icon will appear Send to your devices. When we choose this option, a list of all available devices on which we are logged in to our Google account will be displayed. One click and we can continue browsing on the other device without having to browse the history or bookmarking the page being viewed. It is very likely that this function will also be introduced to Chromium Edge, although here Microsoft can bet on its proprietary solution mentioned above.
